On Friday 23rd August 2024, the Ombudsman, Mr. George Robert, welcomed the Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy, Mr. Adham Loutfi, to the Office of the Ombudsman. This meeting marked their first interaction in Mr. Robert’s capacity as Ombudsman, although they had met previously in other contexts. Mrs. Carmen Cesar, the office’s Legal and Investigation Officer, was also present during the meeting. The courtesy call served as an opportunity to discuss matters of mutual interest and to strengthen the ongoing collaboration between the U.S. Embassy and the Ombudsman’s Office.
